Andriy is also known as Szewa, he is no longer a professional football player  - he tries his hand at football coaching. Since July’16 he has been a head-coach of Ukrainian national team. But his football achievements places him among outstanding footballers. He is the 2^nd highest all-time goal-scorer of AC Milan, located on a list of top ten scorers of UEFA CHL (at 8^th place).

When he was a boy he was noticed by Dynamo Kiev talent scout. In 1994, when he was only 16 he started to play in a first squad of “Pride of Ukraine”. He quickly won recognition of football fans in his country. After scoring a hat-trick in UEFA CHL eliminations 97/98 against FC Barcelona on Camp Nou, he has become “wanted” by the elite of Europeans football clubs. The offers started to flow to Kiev. The highest proposal was made by AC Milan (35m USD), if it were realized it would made Szewa the world's most expensive player then (till 97/98). Dynamo kept this football diamond, but not for long. Starting from 1999 Szewa finally joined “Il Diavolo”. In his first season in Italy he become a Top Scorer of Serie A (with 24 goals), but for success in the international arena he had to wait a bit longer. Milan won the UEFA Champions League Cup in 2002/2003 Season. In the final meeting against Juventus he scored the winning penalty.

In May 2006 Szewczenko left Milan for Chelsea. In UK he played until 2009. On 28 August 2009 Szewa signed a contract with his hometown club and returned to Ukraine.   

He scored 48 goals in 111 appearances in the Ukrainian national team. He was named in the Ukrainian squad for two international tournaments: 2006 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2012. After the tournament in 2012, Szewa announced he would retire from football. But he gave a first-class performance during his last European Championship – although Ukraine didn’t advanced to the knockout phase, his two headers against the Swedes delights fans till today.

Now he is trying to build a great Ukrainian national team  as a manager. The first battle was lost – Ukraine didn’t  qualify to the 2018 WC in Russia, but hardworking and ambitious Szewa and his team are ready for the next challenges.

He's only 24 but his football skills according to SofaScore statistics are comparable with Cristiano Ronaldo abilities! Look at this comparison[1]:

He started his professional career at Tottenham on August 2011. He still plays for “the Spurs” and doesn’t want to leave the team: ”Football for me isn't about money. I'm at Tottenham because I love this club and I see it going in the right direction”. He said[2].

In season 2014/15 with 21 goals on his account he was named the PFA Young Player of the Year. He finished two next seasons (2015/16 and 2016/17) as a top scorer of Premier League. Season 2016/17 was awesome for this talented striker for another reason – his “the Spurs” reached to the second position of Premiere League – with 29 goals scored by him (on average 1 goal per matchday).

Starting from 2015 he scores goals for English national team. Since June 2017 he has worn a captain’s armband. On 5 October 2017 against Slovenia on the penultimate matchday of European qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup, he scored the only goal at the stoppage time and guaranteed the Three Lions’ promotion to next summer's tournament.

What will the future bring? Will he put his beloved Tottenham on a UEFA CHL pedestal or he will join the team that is already there (and replace CR7 J)?

Robert Lewandowski – the best Polish striker in recent years and one of the best in the world.
In 2010, while playing for Lech Poznań, he won Polish football championship. It was largely thanks to his efforts – he scored the highest number of goals in Polish Premier League.

In 2010 he transferred to Borussia Dortmund. Soon he became the Bundesliga’s top goalscorer.
In a Champions League semi-final he scored four goals against Real Madrid.

In 2014 he moved to Bayern Munich where he still breaks new records. He scored five goals against Wolfsburg in nine minutes! Lothar Mathaeus said that Lewandowski was the most complete player next to Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo.

Much is said about willingness to acquire the Polish striker by top European clubs. Real Madrid, Manchester City, who else will join the game in the battle of Robert Lewandowski?

Who is Luis Suarez?

Who is it? Excellent striker, but with controversial doings - Luis Suarez. Uruguayan footballer plays as a striker with FC Bacelona on a daily basis.

On August 2012, Suarez signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool. In the 2012/2013 season for the Reds he scored 30 goals. For his achievements Luis was awarded the title of the best player of the year (2013/2014) in England.

Since 2014 he has been playing with Barca, where he is doing as perfectly as in the UK... and hasn't bitten yet.

Although he had bitten his opponents quite often before (including at Ajax Amsterdam, then Liverpool and at the World Championships in 2014).

At the FC Barcelona he was known only from the good side. He has scored 19 goals so far and he is still breaking shooting records. Now he „bites” with his legs...

FC Barcelona – Atletico Madryt 2:1

Atletico Madryt players' fouls have doomed the chances of winning. Once again, Leo Messi and Luis Suarez have proved their power. On Saturday 30 January 2016 two best teams met Primera Division the ongoing battle for first place in the table.

FC Barcelona beat Atletico Madrid 2:1. Nobody could predict this result, because the first goal scored for Atletico after 8 minutes belonged to Koke. The victory, however, have brought the goals from Leo Messi and Luis Suarez.

Los Colchoneros in the second half played short-handed. First, Luis Filipe after a foul on Leo Messi was shown the red card. Then, after 65 minutes, Diego Godin received a second yellow card and in the end the red.

Barca thus is leading by three points in the table. Is this the way to the championship?
